chat: music

Are you guys familiar with the 4-temperament theory? If so, Iris, Marius,
and Jan all sound like Melancholics. I know I’m 60% and 40% Choleric. Paid
$20 to have a study done. The point is, melancholics should NOT listen to
depressing music. Guess why!! Too depressing and they have a depressed
temperament. DUH Check out books by Tim and Beverly LaHaye, Florence
Littauer, John Trent and Gary Smalley. I learned more about me (female)
when I read Understanding the Male Temperament by T.LH. It helps to
understand why you act the way you do.

Jan’s test <3

Monday, June 30th, 2003

I had my <3 test - won’t know the score ’til later. But if you have a
Pharmaceutical Myocardial Perfusion test, be sure you don’t eat, have aspirin or
like products, and caffein 24 hrs before. ALSO, ask them how long it takes. NO
ONE told me that either. A lovely couple from church met me at the hosp. to make
sure I was ok and could drive home. It took 5.5 hours!!!
I got a couple ekg’s and a 6-min infusion. Then told to eat b’fast. Had a
*complimentary* card telling me to have coffee, juice, and a roll. I said I
don’t drink coffee and am a diabetic. They said have whatever you ant. It was
close to 10:00 a.m. then. Went back in 45 min. for imaging. took about 20 min.
They said Go eat lunch. I said Lunch?? I just ate b’fast. They said some people
like to eat. I said I’m a diabetic. The couple took me to their house & I
napped. We then ate lunch & got back at 1:30 on time. The did the same imaging
with an injection into the hand shunt. Then said I could go home.
I asked if they really meant it?? I said no one said how long it takes.
They said we don’t like to tell them. 8^ (

They retired the name Janet because it was so fierce. That’s my legacy.

Chat: poem - Procrastinater’s Creed

P.S. - Gang, sure don’t want Marius to think this might be for him ;- )
PROCRASTINATOR’S CREED
I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done
already.
I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find
excuses.
I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.
I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the
amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.
I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new
technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my
obligations.
I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of
the amount of time given.
I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though

Chat: Good Morning and so long

Saturday, June 28th, 2003

Well I’m up and have to leave in a bit for that test I forgot to study for. But
don’t know how I’ll do it without a heart. Had to read my messages in case
something interesting was posted. Didn’t find anything except for what Becki and
Christine and Gail and some others said. Wonder why Marius isn’t saying
anything!!?? Has anyone heard anything from him in the last couple of days?
Maybe he’s off on his new singing career.

I really hope the subscribers will forgive me for doing this as I have
been told it’s BAD manners to attach files to a mailing list but this
is something to make us laugh and don’t we need that??
I will refrain from doing it in future if anybody objects.
I don’t want to wake aunty Iris as I believe she likes to sleep late ;^)

Thanks Becks,
I found it very uplifting…dunno about the others.

Good Morning to the few who are up. I also thought it was good. Thanks.
Marius, I don’t like when you work this shift. The rest of us are sleeping
and you are all alone! Soon though I am sure I will start dreaming about
your emails and Jan’s replies!
Becki…we sure were lucky again with Harvey…..turned SE and now south Fl
has to worry. Because we were expecting much rain and wind the schools
closed. Once again the little buggers will be home and I will be a work.
Have a good day all!

Hey all,
any music lovers amongst our sweet family?
I’ve just been listening to Leonard Cohen, such sorrowful sounds,
love his music.
