Are you guys familiar with the 4-temperament theory? If so, Iris, Marius,
and Jan all sound like Melancholics. I know I’m 60% and 40% Choleric. Paid
$20 to have a study done. The point is, melancholics should NOT listen to
depressing music. Guess why!! Too depressing and they have a depressed
temperament. DUH Check out books by Tim and Beverly LaHaye, Florence
Littauer, John Trent and Gary Smalley. I learned more about me (female)
when I read Understanding the Male Temperament by T.LH. It helps to
understand why you act the way you do.

Hi Jan,
I am not familiar with that theory but it does make sense. I love Tim Lahaye
and John Smalley…….Have you ever read “The Blessing”?

I love ALL music, except of course Rave, Reggae, Jazz, Bhangra’
Kwaito, Heavy Metal (any metal).
Who is familiar with Tschaicovsky’s Piano concerto no 1 Opus 23
in D minor?…no rally, no joke.
One cannot help but get a feeling of great joy listening to it.

I’ve watched two Welsh World Choirs on video where the 1812
Overture was performed, gave me gooseflesh..

I LOVE Piano Concerto Number 1. I love most piano concertos, actually. I
love the 1812 Overture performed with real cannons
entire Victoria Symphony is towed out into the harbour on a barge, and
they perform a free concert, the climax of which is the 1812 Overture,
with cannons and fireworks.

We are in the company of some very refined people! I think I better get some
classical CD’s. Of course i have heard the 1812 Overture but now it is time
I listen to some of the other music you are talking about. Maybe I can borrow
them from the library.
Thanks for the music education!
