Is there something in the air? LOL For the past few evenings, my
pre-bedtime bg has been way high - last night, it was over 350!!! Thhis
was after normal readings most of the day. I did have a “low” after
dinner, so I suppose the reading could have been partly a rebound from
that, but I don’t usually get nearly that intense of rebounds. The few
previous nights, it’s been in the 200’s - still way high for me. Anyway, I
tested about an hour ago and was at 115, so hopefully the cycle’s been
broken (but it’s not bedtime yet…) Laura
Ditto to all that and to Iris’s frustrations too. Why won’t my body play
by the rule book? I got a referral from my primary care physician today to
see an endocrinologist about getting a pump.

To All Frustrated,
My Endo years ago told me, why expect perfect results from an imperfect
body. Meaning not to let it get to me when doing everything right and I
would see numbers like yours. Having diab as a child he said my organs did
not even develop right and to expect my body to work like someone that did
not have diab was not rational. I do still get frustrated, but I remember
what he said and it seems to help some. I guess the main thing was I felt
like some really believed in me and understood, and he was another diab.
