I hope Marius knows he doesn’t need to do this for our attention……he has
it just for being his adorable self! He just better get to the doctor and do
what he is supposed to do to get his bg and bp where it is healthy!
My computer was messed up and it needed to be serviced so I am just reading 2
1/2 days of mail! I went to the DR myself on Friday and my bg is great but I
now have to go for an echostress test. I was put on 2 more bp pills along
with the 1 I already take. Creatine ratio was 235 so I am high risk for
kidney disease. The doctor said it is still at the point where it can be
reversed IF I stop smoking and get my bp under control. I take my meds, I
exercise, I definitely have been eating right (since 8/13) so What more can I

do for my bp?
My triglycerides were OK and so was my cholesterol. The good cholesterol is
very low so I must exercise more. This is the reason for the echostress test.
She explained that most women are protected from a heart attack before
menopause but diabetes takes that protection away. Since I am in menopause
and I smoke and have high bp and low good cholesterol I am greater risk. I
don’t need to tell you all how upset I am.
She is really a very good doctor and has encouraged me with “look how you
took control of your Diabetes, you will do the same with everything else!”
I have lost 21 lbs and my bg are always in acceptable range. Well, I did have
my first low of 70 yesterday mid morning. I don’t know why it is soooo hard
to stop smoking! I have tried so many times with all types of aids. I just
have NO willpower where cigarettes are concerned.
