I’m so glad to be able to sit here and “talk” to you,
on Sunday we went to the airport to watch the model airplanes.
After a while, four “real” planes landed, one was a WW2 Harvard. I
went to have a look at this magnificent plane and the pilot of one of
the other planes asked me if I wanted to go for a flip. They had
come from a town in Zululand where they took part in an air stunt
show. Newcastle was their refuelling stop back home to
Johannesburg.
I declined the offer as I did not have any toiletpaper with me and
carry no spare nether garments.
We heard over the news that that same stunt plane crashed about
an hour after take off, killing the pilot.
