Heard it takes 2 years to heal from this. I had many ultra sound treatments
and it took 2 years.

On Monday about noon I got a call that my 37.5 yr-old-son fell off a
2-story building in Muncie. We rushed to the ER at Ball Memorial Hosp. 175
mi. away. He broke 3-4 vertebrae, bruised his heels landing on the concrete,
scraped his butt, and had stitches in one arm from catching the guttering.
Wednesday he had MAJOR back surgery - removal of one of the vertebra,
replacing it with a rib and encasing it in metal. They are watching a 4th
one that may require more surgery. He will be in a brace 3-4 months. It has
been a tough few days. My back still bothers me quite a bit from my
backwards flop (NOTHING compared to HIS) and we rotated ice bags while
traveling. I fell asleep driving 70mph on I-69 - hit the rumble strip and
Hubby caught the steering wheel. The Lord is watching over us!!
Tuesday night Hub said, “I’ve been home an hour and I’m okay.”
“What!?!??” He repeated it. I was confused until he took his cap off
revealing 5 stitches in his forehead from catching a hook at a steel mill.
Cheer up, things could get worse.

Does anyone have trouble with bleeding when taking insulin?
I often have a few big drops coming out as soon as I withdraw the
needle. Very annoying, as I often have bloodstains on my clothes.
A few days later there would be an ugly bruise but that’s easy to
explain to friends….I’ve told them that my wife is a husband basher.
