Fried Cucumbers
I got this from another list that I joined today. Sounds real good!
Title: Tartar Fried Cucumbers with Sour Cream Sauce

Yield: 6 servings
6 ea Cucumbers large
-OR-
20 ea Cucumbers small
1 ea Egg
2 c Cream
Salt to taste
1 ts Black pepper fresh ground
1 ea Onion med. minced
5 Tb Vegetable oil
2 c Sour Cream
1 Tb Red pepper flakes
1 ea Garlic clove minced
3 Tb Dill fresh chopped
Peel & slice cucumbers 1/4″ thick.
Beat egg and mix into cream with 1/2 of the minced onion, salt
& pepper. Dip the slices into the egg -cream mixture. Be sure to
completely coat each slice.
Fry in the pre-heated oil until golden brown.
Mix the sourcream with the remaining onion, dill, red pepper & garlic
and serve as a dipping sauce.
