educational(s)

Thursday, April 29th, 2004

Tomorrow we’re going to Fort Wayne to the District 11 Toastmasters Conference
and I’ll do an educational session at 10:00-10:55 a.m. I best prepare for it.
Got my handouts printed today and some overhead transparencies made. Besides, I
have to get beautiful — I’ll be seated at the head table for the evening
banquet since I’m the Division A Governor. I feel so lousy of an a.m. and am
getting up at 5:30. Won’t have time to do my hair then — so better do it now. I
won’t be back here much before Sunday late at night (perhaps a minute during
early Sat. a.m.)
We’ll go to Muncie to see son on Sunday. Y’all take care.
G’night.

: characterized by gradual, accumulating effect.
That’s the discription of diabetes!!!!
I thought you were a walking (or sitting) Webster’s Dictionary! Diabetes
affects ALL parts of our bodies, i.e. it’s an insidious disease.

No really, I think I work myself up too much and its very much my
state of mind, frustration, stress and temperament that plays a big
role.
Then, Marius, you should learn a way to CHILL OUT! Only you can change your
temperment. I do understand about the stress at your job. But somehow you
need to find a way to let it go! I know what you should do…..now if we all
could figure out how to do it, we would all be better off!
In my earlier post, there was a typo! I meant no threats, just a lot of
caring and somehow I added an s to caring! Sorry

INSIDIOUS (sorry, guys)

In a crowded city at a crowded bus stop, a beautiful young woman
was waiting for the bus. She was decked out in a tight leather mini
skirt with matching tight leather boots and jacket.
As the bus rolled up and it became her turn to get on, she became
aware that her skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the
height of the first step on the bus. Slightly embarrassed and with a
quick smile to the bus driver, she reached behind her and unzipped
her skirt a little, thinking that this would give her enough slack to
raise her leg. Again she tried to make the step onto the bus only to
discover she still couldn’t!
So, a little more embarrassed, she once again reached behind her
and unzipped her skirt a little more, and for a second time
attempted
the step; and once again, much to her chagrin, she could not raise

Think I’ll go visit Lorena….
Stay away from Lorena!!!!!! I know about the lack of money for meds and
stuff, but sometimes Marius we have to do what we have to do. It is a very
uncomfortable problem and it can clear up with the meds and stay clear IF you
control your bg better!
I really don’t understand why your numbers are all over the place. Do you
really watch what you eat and do you exercise? I am still new to this but I
thought Diabetes could be better controlled than yours? Are there reasons
for the highs that I don’t understand?

I have some trouble regarding my BG, or at least I think it’s related
to high sugar and that is a fungus (candida?)in the genital region
and burning urine, I was a bit shy to mention it but we’re all adults
and I think the ladies might have similar problems. I’ve only noticed
this whenever my sugar is excessively high.
You are right, Marius, we are all grown ups, so never hesitate to discuss
something. I went for my gyn exam last month and what I thought was a
stubborn yeast infection turned out to be the same thing you are
experiencing. The Doc said it is very common for uncontrolled or in my case
undiagnosed diabetics. You will need prescription medication or it will not
totally clear up. And you will keep passing it back and forth with your wife
if she isn’t treated also. So, I hope you tell your quack about it and get

-A Conversation Between God and Moses
“Excuse me, sir.”
“Is that you again, Moses?”
“I’m afraid it is, sir.”
“What is it this time, Moses. More computer problems?”
“How did you guess?”
“I don’t have to guess, Moses. Remember?”
“Oh, yeah. I forgot.”
“Tell me what you want, Moses.”
“But you already know. Remember?”
“Moses!”
“Sorry, sir.”
“Well, go ahead, Moses. Spit it out!”
“Well, I have a question, sir. You know those ten things you
sent me.”
