Gang at One List:
This came in to me on another list. After 49 years (13 more days to dx
anniv.) I continue to count my blessings. For a matter of privacy, I have
eliminated this person’s addy. If someone needs to talk to this person,
contact me and I’ll give it to you. I know this person has requested humor
from me and likes to laugh! (Marius — pay attention to what could happen
with you — however, I know Type 1 & Type 2 are almost 2 diff. diseases).

Shelia, those #’s are great. Congratulations. For Marius’ info: her 3-mo.
profile is the HbA1c we often talk about. The #’s, I believe, are the same
comparison as your daily BGs. I have converted my mind to realizing when
Marius gives a SITREP his BG equals our A1c values — just not over a period
of time. So, when Shelia says she is now 8.4 and happy about it — think of
when Marius is 8.4 and we’re happy for him!!
8^ ) Shelia didn’t like 14.9 — AND, we don’t like when HE is that. 8^ (
My truck-driver hugsband is on his way home even as we post — for the
weekend. He is very tired and taking a day off early (low $$). We’re going
to Fort Wayne Saturday and I’ll present an educational session at the
Toastmasters District 11 Conference (L-I-P-(s) H-A-V-E G-A-B & A
Speaker’s Garden). Then we’ll go on to Muncie on Sunday after Hub plays a
tuba solo at his black fellow-truck-driver’s church. He’s also the pastor
there. I believe I’ll be reading the poem I wrote: The Lord’s Blasted
Horn — to introduce him.
