Iris, Tell your friend to call her local hospital. Ours here in my hometown
will aide those who need the med and supplies. I am not really sure what the
requirements were. I just paid for my moms until she got insurance because
she was so stressed about it and it just seemed to help. Hugs Shelia

Iris,
Tell your friend to ask her doctor if he knows of any clinics that go on a
sliding scale according to income. That is where I am going and I pay
nothing. The clinic supplies the medical services and has enrolled me in an
Indigent Drug program. I don’t know if I spelled that right. The drug
companies supply drugs to patients that otherwise could not afford them. I
get all my meds from them for three months and then I have to fill out the
request form again for the next three months. It is a great relief knowing I
don’t have to pay for them myself.
