The cats have been taking good care of me also - Puff is the ‘day’ cat and
she sits on my lap and purrs while I’m using the computer. Calli is the
‘night’ cat and she snuggles up next to me in bed at night. And when a cat
is on my lap I’m not likely to get up and go in search of chocolate.

I am so glad that you find such comfort and joy with your cats. I never could
get close to a cat! I’m sorry! I don’t like the idea that they climb on
tables and kitchen counters! But I do love to hold a little kitten as long as
I can leave it were I found it!
I imagine you won’t have as much time to write once the new job starts! Will
this job cause you to loose your disability money? Will you have medical

coverage then?

I’m working 8:00 to 3:30, so I will likely still have some computer time,
    though probably not as much.

I hope you still have time for us! And of course for your writting. You must
have a very good imagination to do that writting. I have a hard time writting
the kids an absent note for school!
Tell me how you trained your cats. I have heard that you spray them with a
water bottle. My brother never liked cats until his second marriage. His wife
had one and he instantly feel in love. They now have three cats.

I ate at a co-worker’s house years ago and her cat stood over my salad.
Complete turn off!! But the cats we had were gently shoved off of tables
with a reprimand like Iris does. We didn’t have that problem either. One was
    named II Thessalonians (2 Thess for short but mostly called him Jeffy);
Jeremiah (called Jerry), and Hoog because people couldn’t pronounce my son’s
last name (Hughey) — came out Hoogey. I hope y’all can pronounce it. I
    think it’s easy (Huey).

One time John caught Calli, the younger one, scratching the couch and he
said “No, bad kitty”, and moved her over to her scratching post. Then he
turned his back and she was just about to do it again, when he turned and
she saw him looking at her, and she completely innocently went to the
    scratching post and scratched it.

I have heard that cats are very smart. Sounds like yours are smart and cute!
