Some serious butt has been kicked yesterday with the Rugby
World Cup.
South Africa and Oz played for place in the world cup finals next
week. The teams were about as evenly matched as can be and
the outcome very dicey. As I predicted. the BEST team won of
course!!!!
The Americans (defined as blah blah de blah etc and whatnot…)
presumably don’t know much about the gentle game of rugby but if
there are any Australians on this list, just this;
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WALLABIES!!!!!
your team’s feet and our team’s butts must be as sore as hell…

Iris, I guess most people have no idea what it’s like to have a chronic
disease unless it has struck them or someone very close to them. I was dx
with RA (rheumatoid arthritis) about a year and a half ago. I like to call
it RA because any reference to “arthritis” makes people think they know what
it is (like … “oh yeah, I’ve got a little of that in my left knee”)
(Wrong! - that’s osteoarthritis). After my daughter was dx with T1 ten
months ago I’ve only just begun to discover how hard it is to go through
life and have a “side job” as a pancreas. I described it to one of my
friends as being similar to playing that game where you try to keep an air
filled balloon from hitting the floor — only it’s lifelong … no matter
what you ever do/accomplish, you’ll have to do that too. So, I’ve learned
from experience that lots of things can go wrong in your body that can’t be
seen from the outside.
Anyhow, Christine is right, don’t let anyone make you feel like you don’t
deserve the disability money.

Please, Iris,
define FEW. (I feel like I’m talking to whassisname).
How was your BG this a.m.? Also, chocolate is not good for hypos because of
the extra fat in it slowing down the absorption of the sugar (and extra
calories). Haven’t heard about John since your fall.
