e-mail in SA

YA mean slower than MINE?? I’ve decided to write more oily-onion words since
Iris’s post earlier today and forget the w.O.w. signature to see if they’ll
go through easier.
Juno is a free e-mail service HOWEVER my PC isn’t compatible with it (IBM
Aptiva 56k). But you can’t get the web with Juno either. - gotta pay for it.

Jan didn’t you say your pc was new? I looked at the IBM’s. I want a Hewlett
Packard but know I can’t afford it. I want a pen 111 but not sure I can
afford it. fact is I can’t afford much!! lol. Hugs Shelia

Yeah, Christine,
new last Thanksgiving. Hooked it up in January, got on line in March (I
ALWAYS delve into new things i.e. the scanner). Best Buy told me Juno isn’t
compatible with some pcs. I’m glad though ’cause I wouldn’t have signed up
for the web otherwise.

I like to delve into new stuff, most of the time. I just have a real bad
mental block when it comes to computer stuff!

The best thing to do is play around with it and experiment, just
don’t save any changes!!
Also “help” is an excellent tool.

Marius as you know I have been able to open your pictures. I must
refresh them every so often because of my zoom text but I do see them. I
have not been able to open some of them that have been sent by people who
have webtv. I still have not figures out to send them but that will
happen. I have Juno and have had it for 3 years. It was free email.
Just this last Sept. we got the junoweb for $10 a month. Unlimited
access. My daughter went in and signed us up for instant mail and some
other things. I have not used yet, but we are having a good time
exploring and using some of the electric cards etc. It is really fun.
The only thing Is if we are on the web no phone calls because we only
have one line into the house and we do not have call waiting or voice
mail. It works for us ok if I can keep Joni on for only half our
periods. She ususally goes on later at night so it does work for us.
