    *dr* Jan,
my cholesterol is WAAAAYYYY too high according to my quack,
that’s why the minor heartquake and also the aftershock.
I’m busy losing weight at a faster rate than I’m losing patience..
    My mom’s cholesterol I don’t know, I guess because she’s a
pensioner and therefore a “government patient” they aren’t too
worried about it….wish I could be with her…
Yesterday I asked the one sister if I could have some ice water for
my mom as it was extremely hot and humid at the coast,
she looked at me as if I invented income tax and replied that she
doesn’t know where they keep it and must go look for it first…

Wait a minute! Just because someone gets goverment help they shouldn’t be
worried about their health. You know Marius it is looking better and better
over here. Don’t you think you and your family could swim over!

I know it must be hard not to be with your Mom. Can you at least call her? My
mom is 19 hours away and I only see her every 6 months and her health is very
    unstable. I do understand.
Her is an extra hug for you,
    Hugs,
    Christine

    Hi all,
just got back to work and received a call from my sister that my
mom has had her second attack yesterday, she has been
DISCHARGED this morning, I told my sister that if my mom wasn’t
a state pensioner then they would have reacted differently!!!!
My aunt is with my mom at the moment and next weekend my
brother will fetch her to come to Newcastle.
Please be patient, I have 117 messages to go through…
    Marius.

A heart attack for a pensioner isn’t serious enough, they have to
keep beds open for PAYING patients. This is South Africa.
