You wanna boot me off???
I asked my sister in Malelane in the KNP to find me a mailing list
and also looked it up in an e-mail search thingy…and subscribed!!
Unfortunately this search “thingy” doesn’t work anymore, so finding
ANY mailing list is very difficult.
maybe soon to be booted off Marius.

Glad to see that I’m still a member of this LOVING community of
diabetics!!! lol
I’ve SOME good news,
I think I have mentioned previously that my wife and I print business
cards to get some more money in. We have received our first
standing order!!
The manager of a PC company in town has asked us to be their
regular printer. He is very impressed with the cards and asked us
to have 500 printed by the 25th of every month.
Ours are the ONLY cards that I know of that are vinyl coated and
waterproof, cannot be torn easily and flexible. Others have very
unattractive looking rigid laminated cards.
We even have a quality control department called Spud, if our dog
Spud cannot chew the cards to pieces then they must be good!!
I have immersed some in water for a few hours with no damage at
all. This manager came over to our house after hearing that our PC
is not Y2K compliant and installed software to remedy that problem.
I have also received orders for about 3000 cards for another
company.
I think it’s the way we do our “marketing” that works. Other people
go to the companies and ASK if they need business cards and
show them their catalogue. I don’t, I look for particular companies,
print and coat one business card with their logo which I show to the
manager or whoever and TELL them they need some more.
All the cards are cut out by hand (scissors) by my wife as my eyes
aren’t so good anymore and we have no machine to cut it with.
We plan to print inspirational cards as well.
