Hi Jan,
I have a favor to ask of you and others, when replying to any of my
messages, would you please just enter my first name (Wally) in the subject line?
I have to use a synthesizer adn it means reading a lot of pre-message junk
and I simply do not have the time for this.
Blessings, Wally.

Sunday, February 6th, 2005

Marius,
I hope you get this…..I know that Jan is fwding things to you.
I miss hearing from you and I do hope they fix your mail SOON! You must be
going a bit crazy!
How is your Mom doing? Do you celebrate any form of Thanksgiving….I know it
is a traditional US holiday, but SA may celebrate it for other blessings. If
so, have a nice day and I am thankful for you and this wonderful group!

Marius’ Addy

Thursday, February 3rd, 2005

Iris,
In light of his message, and the from line being lowercase, and I received 9
notifications that the uppercase cannot go through, would it possible to
subscribe him with both uppercase and lowercase addys? This way the
undelivered can be deleted until this is all settled. I got notifications
they were undeliverable yet HRE says those are the ones he got. Just trying
to help out in this situation.

I just don’t feel good

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2005

hey everyone,
I am really having some challenges with my bgs. I really have not felt good
for a few weeks now. My chest feels tight and my throat sore. Saturday I
stayed cold and did not have any kind of appitite. By that nite I ate some
cornbread and milk. just a small bowl. I went to bed and the next morning
my bgs were 393! I took a shot and took all my meds and by noon it was at
97. I still stayed cold and my nose started running. I went to bed last
nite and did sleep good got up and took bgs and it was at 179, I took my
temp and it was 96.4, I never had a temp below normal is that ok? I hope I
am not getting the flu I feel really sick. Do you guys think the cornbread
and milk maybe triggered my high bgs? I know milk is high in carbs and most
likely the cornbread also. I had made chicken and sausage gumbo and did not
dare eat any of it. Sorry for the pitty party but I guess I need to go see
the doctor this afternoon. I am taking 2000mg of glucopage a day and a amaryl
once a day and I am still having problems with high bgs. I have been having

Y2K fix

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

I’ve been taking a computer course at the “Y” and learned that every single
installation of Windows worldwide is defaulted to fail Y2K rollover. Here is how
to fix it yourself:
Double click on “My Computer.”
Double click on “Control Panel.”
Double click on “regional Settings” icon.
Click on the “Date” tab at the top of the page.
Where it says, “Short Date Sample” look and see if it shows a “two-digit” year.
Of course it does.
That’s the default setting for Windows 95, Windows 98 and NT.
This date RIGHT HERE is the date that feeds application software and WILL NOT
rollover in the year 2000. It will roll over to 00.
Click on the button across from “Short Date Style” and select the Option that
shows, mm/dd/yyyy.
(Be sure your selection has four Y’s showing, not just two). Then click on
