Please excuse my excitement but we don’t see much tornadoes
here, the last one that did damage was in 1990 when I was at the
coast. It went right through town.
Sorry, no SITREP for a while…NO STIX…
but I feel fine (yeah Jan I KNOW…creeping up on you etc.)
Marius.
Marius,
Did you get insulin? What is happening? A tornado is something to get
excited about but I would have run and hid!!! I am happy when I see rainbows.
That is all the excitement I can take!

You will be glad to know that my BG is 9.2mmol/l (165)
    Really, no *Pinnochio-ing* now.
This twister was about 2 miles away and NOBODY’S gonna make
ME hide when I can see nature in action!!
The funny thing is, I went out EXPECTING to see one, I always
watch for unusual weather patterns or thunderstorm activities
because I find it very interesting. I have a video “library” of unusual
things, “Wonders of Nature” “Mysteries of this world” etc.
Last night I watched a rescue documentary (not 911)
I find it fascinating that people in the US place such a high value on
animal life, saw two puppies being rescued that fell down a 40ft
pipe, a 9 hour ordeal. Also saw a whole road being torn and dug up
to rescue a puppy up that fell down a drainpipe. I wish this country
could be like that. Fortunately we watched in the dark…don’t want
    to tarnish my macho image…

You are a big teddy bear, Marius.
I also like to WATCH nature happenings, just on tv not in person. I am afraid
that something will happen to my kids.
As far as protecting or rescuing animals….it is a good thing but more
efforts should be placed on saving our children in abusive and dangerous
situations. Social service workers have such heavy caseloads that many of
these children slip through the cracks.
You still haven’t answered my question about insulin…I am asuming that you
did get some since you have a much better BG this morning.

I think I should forget about insulin, if I can keep my BG this low
without insulin then I can keep on doing it..waddaya others think?
    Marius
IF you can keep it low!!!! What have you done differently to lower it? Most
days with the insulin it isn’t controlled. 165 isn’t exactly a great number!
It is much lower for you but if that was to be your average number it would
    still lead to complications.

    Now I AM awake!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
    (p.s. I caught that *wink*

Tornadoes are common enough around here that most people run and hide.
Except they warn with the slightest rise in wind and many now think they are
crying *wolf.* I am surprised you didn’t have your camera with you at the
time to capture the wonder of it all.

People think that I am a bit weird because I really miss seeing them every
year since I moved from Kansas to Oklahoma. They are pretty exciting.

Yep, another guy! To be honest, my wife is the diabetic in the family as
well as a CDE, RN, pump trainer for both pumps, president of NODE
(Northeastern Oklahoma Diabetic Educators), president of the Ok-pumpers,…
I’m just the geek hubby who am always trying to learn as much as possible
just to keep up with my wife! In fact, the email address that I am using is
    a part of our brand new (and in need of some TLC) pumpers web site;
