It sounds like the flu bug has biten you, Iris. I had a mild case of it this
past week. The lingering cough is what has me feeling crappy now. Take care
of yourself. I am sorry to hear about your job. How will this affect your
health coverage? Will you still have what you had before the job?

head. I do have a slightly sore throat though. Maybe I caught a computer
virus ? LOL!!! That is just how my thingy started…..sore throat and body aches. It
really hasn’t been too bad. A few days of stuffy nose and then a runny nose!
But the cough is what has gotten me. Plus I am soooo tired from it. Maybe
the same computer virus? :~)

Hi Jan, I am sorry :O( you are still sick. Is the weather snowy there? It
has been kinda cold here but then the very next day everyone is wearing
shorts and sandles. The flu bug is in full force here. Have you heard from

Got 1-2″ snow. It was kind of icy this a.m. It was 24F outside. Mr. Jan
hasn’t worked in 2000 yet — hes’s sick too!!! Dr. said it’s not flu, but a
viral thing. Hubby had an awful night trying to sleep last night. Got him 2
Rx’s yesterday — they both make him drowsy and he can’t drive like that.
It’s the blasted coughing and coughing and coughing. His throat is raw from
it. We both had aches and chills. I’m getting some appetite back. Lost 5#
and it would be nice to keep it off — but then, that’s too much to ask for.

Went to ophthalmalogist today. He saw slight change in my vision but not
enough to correct. Will see me again in June. My left eye is still a little
blurry from the dilation — no, I think there’s a smudge on my glasses. Jan
I figured it was snowing or icy where you are. THe virual thing is going on
here really bad, mostly also broncritis and such. ONe day we are hot the
next it is cold and I have really been battling it also but knock on wood so
far I have stayed ahead of it. I do believe this is the longest I have been
well. I hope it stays that way. My new doctor is partly reponsible for
this. Well I hope you and Mr Jan get well. We have to be in good health and
sprits when Marius returns. Hugs Shelia
I am really sorry to hear of everyone’s illness. Iris, I hope you do not go
on into some viral thing.
Jan, I know what you mean about the cough. I get something viral every
spring and cough for months. I am not stretching it any either.
Christine, I hope yours does not worsen.
I have been staying home trying to avoid the flu and the entergastrical
thing going around now. I did have to go to the Dr Mon., but they had me
come in the back door and put me right in a surgical room there. The Dr is
trying adding another diuretic. I had started swelling around my diaphram
and my back and was having trouble breathing. They can’t seem to come up
with a dx or any treatment that will help me. This is how I started last
fall before I had the shingles. Still have some of them on my leg.
Anyway I hope all of you start feeling better right away. Jan I hope Mr Jan
does not have a different virus and give it to you.
