My server

Tuesday, August 30th, 2005

I contacted my server about my delayed outgoing stuff the other night.
Here’s the response I received.
Jan Hughey,
My name is Efrain, I am a Tech Support Agent for CoreCommm Internet. I
was sending these messages to your account in response to the message you
had sent to our mail support department. The last couple of days the mail
server was being worked on and so a delay in the sending and receiving of
mail was caused. This could have been the delay you were experiencing. The
messages were being sent to help us identify any problems relating to your
email account. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

JUST SAW SOMETHING TERRIBLE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE!!!!
A diesel locomotive has just collided with an articulated truck,
locomotive on it’s side in the mud and the truck minus half it’s
trailor.
Fortunately no one injured or killed!!!!
The whole area is teeming with security and safety officials,
managers and paramedics.
WOW….no, WOWX2!!!!

gold

Sunday, August 28th, 2005

For those who are interested, just a bit of info on gold,
the name GAUTENG is the Sotho word for gold.
Whilst in Gauteng I wanted to go down a gold mine but Wendy
asked me not to.
Pure gold is the most malleable and ductile of all the metals. It
can easily be beaten or hammered to a thickness of 0.000013
cm (0.000005 in), and 29 g (1.02 oz) could be drawn into a wire
100 km (62 mi) long. It is one of the softest metals (hardness,
2.5 to 3) and is a good conductor of heat and electricity. Gold is
bright yellow and has a high luster. Finely divided gold, like other
metallic powders, is black
Gold is extremely inactive. It is unaffected by air, heat, moisture,
and most solvents. It will, however, dissolve in mixtures
containing chlorides, bromides, or some iodides. It will also
dissolve in many oxidizing mixtures, in alkali cyanides, and in

multiple posts

Saturday, August 27th, 2005

Gail,
That *registered mail* post that we were getting was a crazy thing. Each
post that was read by the member came back as read and registered mail. Iris
sent a post that she had unsubscribed that member because of it. I think
that was also the one who sent the 5 Fwd. hoax message.
You doin’ okay??

Is this in time?

Friday, August 26th, 2005

I just remembered that tonight OneList is going to do some kind of maintenance
work and we may not be getting through. Didn’t keep that post to remind everyone
what it said. But this is the night for it.

pg and high sugars

Friday, August 26th, 2005

Hmmmmm, and I thought it was the fact that he placed his shoes under my side
of the bed. I was hospitalized with a kidney infection 3 weeks after our
wedding, then got pg 5 weeks after the ceremony. I was taking one shot a day
of NPH/Regular. NO way of checking BGs in 1960 at home. It was done once a
month at the dr’s office and then had to wait for the lab results. My first
one was 10#. Many diabetics got/get pg with high BGs, but as Bethany knows,
many babies are lost. Therefore, I do not believe that dr. who said you
cannot get pg if sugars are high.
Bethany, good luck. The pump will help you tremendously.
