orthotics
Becki,
I have custom-made orthotics (from Germany) and the footologist just
recently (for bone spur) put on extra padding for the pain. Two pieces of
blue sponge and one with a horeshoe-shaped extra padding on sore foot cost
$40.00 !!!!! Of course, he had to shape them himself. The cost is in the
*knowing* how to shape them.
I’d like to get those $125.00 dress shoes from him. I need to bring in some
$$ in this house!!!

Orthotics are specially-made arch supports. I put my foot in a mold to form
to my arch, the mold was sent to Germany and they made them there. They are
a see-through orange *plastic* (not) material that my grandkids used to
remove from my shoes and look through. 8^)
