Babs’ meeting

Babs,
How did the meeting go with Es’ teacher/nurse/principal or whomever? Wasn’t
it Friday?

    It was Wednesday actually…
errr.. lemme go get some coffee ; ) oo and E Fashion News is on….
    I’ll have to tape it… Um.. : )
The meeting I think, went well. The nurse sat next to me a the table (which
I hated) cuz every time I mentioned something about her, whether it was
something she said or had done in the past she huffed at me.. and I’m like,
What the heck? Be a mature adult, and if you have a problem w/ something I’m
saying, confront me on it. but don’t sit there and huff about it. As far as
I’m concerned she only validated my concerns and allegations when she didn’t
    contest anything I had said.
She had to leave a few times to go take care of other kids, and Chad and I
confided to the principle and the Head District nurse how we felt about
this one at the school.. I think the principle was surprised at some of the
things we told her this nurse had said/done… Relations seem to have
improved between the school nurse and I when she calls home with a question,

so I think the principle got on her butt a bit, which is what I was really
hoping she’d do. Not to be mean, but this lady really needed to shape up…
Anyway…. still waiting on the paperwork.. the head district nurse said she
was going to write up a new care plan and then send it to me to look over
and sign if I approved it… then send it back w/ Es so everyone else can
sign it, then I’d get my own copy…
That’s about it… I was prepared to get spitting mad if i needed to, but
Chad was nervous and babbled and it would have looked silly for me to be
spitting mad after that. Oh well. I told him maybe he needed one of your
    speech courses ; ) LOL

Ur, umm, did I mention we detect speakers’ ur’s and umm’s in Toastmasters? ;-) That’s great she had those little *breaks* to take care of other
students’ needs - gave you a chance to vent a little. Things sound like they
should go lots better for you now. IF there is a next time, take a bb food
jar with seed beads in it and whirl them with your finger to relax.

Believe it or not, I JUST got this post. I am sure you are relieved how the
meeting went. I am glad for you and especially ES.

I DO believe it.. I always get posts from this list out of order…
and I am relieved.. and Es seems very happy with the new arrangements too.
I worry sometimes about control and her rebelling, but for now she seems
very happy having as little to do with it as possible.
