Rise up and call me blessed

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

I’m sure all the *Digest* readers of this list will rise up and call me
blessed by the suggestion I’m going to make:
PLEASE, (pretty please with artificial sweetener on top) CUT the STUFF at
the end of the posts when responding to them. I have received some that have
4-5 advertisements at the end. Digest readers have to wade through ALL that
to get to the next post. Some have to pay ‘net time. If I’m PC functionally
illiterate and can do it, the rest of the members can, too.

Blow up

Friday, January 13th, 2006

Dearest, SIR, Marius,
The last time you were on (WEDNESDAY = FOUR [4] days) you *mentioned* a
building blew up or something and you’d have to read the paper to find out.
WHAHAPPENED??
Thanks for the guffaw - I needed that (post below)

to the ‘net after that. I deleted it and ran maintenance and I got
reconnected. Don’t know whahappened. BUT, the way you have sent pics in the
past have been absolutely, great, perfect, good, etc., etc., and so forth.

Iris-fibromyalgia

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006

Iris,
One of my best friends has fibro, and she reacts very similar to you. She
is not diabetic. She had to quit work and stay home, but since she has
lessen some of her stress, she has greatly improved. I think it is alot
like other diseases in it has remissions and excerbations. So I guess what
I am trying to say is-hang in there and take care of yourself and the pain
will let up a little where it is more tolerable. I know “stress” is a real
culprit.

Australia vs. South Africa

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006

Sarah,
Your post almost sounds like South Africa is eons ahead of Australia - that
is, medically!! Doesn’t the government (or whatever agency) know that a Type
1 does not produce insulin and will die within 3 days without it?? If you
ever have an opportunity to speak with one of them, ask if they would be
willing to have their pancreas removed as an experiment — with NO
replacement insulin. It’s NOT like an appendix.
