I am thankful for you all!
To my family at onelist,
Thank you for your concern. I am doing better I think! I wound up having to
go to court three times this week. It is really tramatic to see my son come
into the courtroom with shackles and handcuffs and anklecuffs. They are
shakled together. But the saddest part is when the kids are placed in a glass
room they sit there and laugh! They think it is a joke. But when they get up
in front of the judge many of them start to cry. Of course not my son, he is
to detatched to show emotions.
Mike, my son’s former therapist and a very good friend and support of mine,
came for dinner Thursday night. He really helped me see how emotionally sick
my son is. He needs intensive, inpatient treatment. It is a very long process
to get him in one though. But the process has begun.
I wrote a letter to my son today. I expressed how much I love him and need
him home with the people who love him. I am willing to go the journey with
him but he has to invite me. He needs to get better emotionally to come home
so we all will be safe.
I feel better having written this to him because he hasn’t even looked at me
at court. I haven’t been able to let him know that I love him and NEVER will
desert him. I know he will read it because he won’t have to look at me or the
kids.
Anyway…….I am glad that Babs is feeling better from the accident. I also
read that Iris is feeling a bit better even if she is frustrated waiting for
the UPS man….who is lost! He is by Jan’s neighborhood!
Gail sounds pretty good also. It was nice to see Shelia has been posting…I
am sure you relaxed and enjoyed your time with Mike. Haven’t seen much from
Becki. I hope she isn’t working herself into a tizzy!
Jan, you have to stay healthy! How are all the tests going? I quess a
transplant is a very long approval process.
And SIR Marius has been sick:~(…..sharing his germs with his cyber family,
huh?
If I missed anyone please forgive me. I am very grateful for your thoughts
and prayers. I do have to tell you that my BG have been excellent since
Sunday! What a pleasant surprise. I think it might be that I forced myself to
get back to walking, aerobics and weight training. It has been good for me
mentally, emotionally and I am sure physically.
I am sorry this is so long but I am glad I have this list to share with.
Much love to you all,
Christine
