need attorney
where would I go, to find an attorney who specializes in this? I don’t want
to just pluck one from the yellow pages.
the school agreed to do some research (like I would trust their research
anyway) as far as policies etc for glucagon. I have heard nothing from them.
They sent home with Es the arrangements we agreed on for me to sign. I have
been sitting on them (figuratively) until I heard word on the glucagon.
Today they sent another packet via certified mail.
I’m thinking they must want me to sign this pretty bad.

They won’t administer it.
I called the PACER center again… but its already 4:30 so I’m sure I won’t
hear back until at least Monday.
They want me to sign a form outlining how to care for Es. Fine. But I don’t
want to be held to that form just because I signed it. The agreement was,
that they would check into their policies. I’ve heard nothing.
The form states that they will keep the glucagon on hand and give it to the
first responder if they have to call a paramedic.
I want someone there on school grounds who will just do it.
In some research I found, someone (don’t have the name on hand) said that a
child can suffer brain damage in the time it takes a medic to get there.
By signing these papers as they are now, I release the school from liability
should brain damage occur.
