Connie,
Do you remember how I sent the pics of Pinocchio; you, J’anne, and me; and
Mr. & Mrs. Jan? I gave them to YOU and you did it. hahaha Well, I met
another ‘netter (on a pump list) from Terre Haute (a newspaper editor) up
here and gave that pump pic to her and she put it on. I just hit *forward*
and it worked.
The stoooopid things I’m concerned about with the booklet are missing
someone on my list of acknowledgements, an important memory, etc. Even Mr.
Jan won’t be THAT aware of those things - it’s up to me. I get anxious to
get it completed, but in the next seven months I know something will *hit*
me. Then it will have to be done over. I guess I should practice patience.
(~_^)
My scanner is hooked up. Son’s POSSLQ did it at Christmas without me
looking. I don’t know what she did and I can’t find the instruction book.
It does me no good.

Jan

    Connie,
POSSLQ: person of opposite sex sharing living quarters (ala Miss Manners)
NO, on the spell check thingy. Someone in a PC store told me they were
surprised I had it even grey because it is mostly for network PCs - which
    doesn’t make sense AT ALL.
ANNOUNCEMENT: My server is 100% complete on their upgrade. Therefore, I will
no longer have ANY problems. 8^)

Iris, Have you been in lots of pain since I last talked to you? Also
what is this about a new job? I really feel out of touch. Also Sheila,
I think we flew over your place last night. We flew into San Antonio
about 8 and was in the airport for about 20 minutes on our way home to
Tampa. I waved to you. Just wanted to know if you saw me. I was in the
third window on the left side…tee hee…Well it is time to get ready
for work. Talk to you all later…Becki

Why have you been so down? Is there something that we can do to cheer
you up? Also can we write to Raggdey privately or would that be an
intrusion into her privacy? I had her email address and would write to
her but it is out of my ady. If you think that it would help send her
addy and I will drop her a line. Becki

Connie, I think your trip to Tampa could be just what the doctor
ordered. Where does your mother in law live? Is she coming to take care
of your hubby and child? That could be good for your daughter to have
grandma with her. We have lots of things to do here for fun depending on
what you like to do. I have free time in the mornings also but will not
have a car to get to you. You said that you were flying standby…is
your hubby a pilot? It sounds like you are traveling in an adventure
not knowing if you will get a ride on a certain day. I have never done
that…is it scary…oh well. Do you know where the convention in going
to happen? You said that you were staying on water does that me St. Pete
or Clearwater? Do you like to do flea markets or wild life. We have a
great zoo here that does reciprical memberships with a lot of zoos. It
is very pleasant there and close to my work so we could do that in a
morning and then I could go to work in the afternoon. Also there is a
great science museum and aquarium that you might enjoy. If you have

wheels I can tour you. Shopping can be fun but now always cheap. Just
let me know what you like. My husband works on Sat. so I am free all
day. Sunday he can be with us and be our driver if you wish. We have
some lovely parks to walk with boardwalks, and usually lots of wild life.
Also if you like to eat….I know our sugars…but we have a nurse with
us right?????? there are fun places to do that also. It is fun to go to
Tarpon Springs also. It is the sponge docks and antiques there. Just
let me know what you want and how much time you want to spend with us. I
was going to see if I could see if Christine could come over from
Melbourne for the day. We have been talking about getting together one
day so may be we could do it on a Sunday. It is about a 2 hour drive for
her. I am just talking off the top of my head so will have to see if
Christine can afford to come. That would be really a lot of fun….Keep

I am really looking forward to the trip to Tampa! I went to Wal-Mart today
and bought a wrap around cover-up for over my swimsuit! I don’t want to be
tempting anybody! HA! Actually I don’t want to show off my fat thighs!

My in-laws live on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. They’re
really close to Mt. Airy, NC (Andy Griffith’s Mayberry). It she can’t come
stay with Irv and Julianne, then I’ll fly Julianne down to TX a few days
early to stay with my parents.

Standby can be a real pain in the “you know what” sometimes. My husband is a
mechanic for United so we fly really cheap, but we pay for it in time and
aggravation. I’m not sure right now about what to do to get home on Apr.
2nd. Hubby said that United is already booked solid. We can purchase ID90
tickets for other airlines which are 90% discount off the regular fare, but
it’s still standby. This morning I was checking out fares for other airlines
for the return flight. The best price so far is $168 for Southwest.
Unfortunately, it is for Monday the 3rd which would mean an extra night in
the hotel as well. The Southwest ticket is fully refundable, so in case I
got a seat on United Sunday, I could get my money back. I checked with ATA
this morning too, they want $200. Their $89 one way ticket price isn’t
available right now because of spring break. Will spring break still be
going on down there at the end of March and beginning of April? If so, I’m
sure that’s why I can’t get a flight out on United. Delta and American both
want $400+! If I can’t talk my husband into getting the Southwest ticket,
then I may have to fly back on either Thursday or Friday. That would be a
    real bummer!

I’m not sure. I think Lynn said on the beach, but I might have been reading
it wrong. We talked about the trip through “instant messaging” so I don’t
have anything to go back and re-read. I sent her an e-mail this morning to
    find out some additional details.

I like all kinds of things. Shopping *cheap* is one thing I really like.
Lynn is more of a beach bum than I am. I’m not real keen on sand in my
    swimsuit! :-) *****

I *always* love to eat! Lynn is a baby nurse, so isn’t real accustomed to
handling adults. She jokes when go somewhere like white water rafting that
we need to be careful not to get hurt because she is “off duty”. :-) She
makes exceptions though. Right after I found out I was pregnant with
Julianne we went white water rafting on the Nantahela River in NC. She sat
right behind me and when the water started getting rough, she latched on to
me to make sure I didn’t fall out! In contrast, a few years before that I
got stuck in the bottom of the boat and everyone got a good laugh at my
    expense. :-D *****

I talked to Christine right after I found out about the trip. Unfortunately
she will be in NY that week.
Well, I need to get going. We’re heading out in the morning to visit the
in-laws and I haven’t even started packing yet! I’ll be back on Tuesday
    afternoon.
