tests and rain

Marius,
Just got another thought. Do you IMMEDIATELY close the stopper on your test
strip container when removing a strip? If you leave it open while testing
and there are 50 strips inside, that means by the end it has been left open
close to an hour. That can damage the remaining ones. I once watched a
nurse test my daughter while she was pg. Nursey left the container open
during the entire testing procedure. I mentioned it should be closed
immediately. Of course, dau thought I was being mean. However, dau’s friend
who worked at Bayer where they developed strips in ’80s and built
Glucometers yelled at me for not closing it up NOW! I told her she should
want an accurate test and it may not be if left open.
Please reply. Your rain storm prompted that thought.
