advantage
Denis,
I use the Accuchek Advantage. I have had serveral machines and still own
three, but I like the ease and the best results of the Advantage. Marius is
right, (just this once, but what can you expect from someone that can’t
spell Brazil) the soft clix is great and I use the comfort curve strips in
my Advantage.

Denis,
(I can spell Brazil, but I can’t spell Zimbobwe.)
I use the AccuChek Advantage Complete, too. Anyone else out there who uses
(and likes) the Comfor Curve strips can thank ME (in part, at least). I was
given this meter and 300 strips to test it out. I hated the red strips with
the spot on top. It took from 3-5 strips to get just ONE good test. At the
end of the study I told them on their survey sheet. Someone from another
list (Gail - Leslie) also didnt like them. Shortly thereafter they developed
the blue Comfort Curve. The said someone thought it would be neat having a
red patch for red blood. I call it: Designed by non-users.
I also use an Exach-Tech pen for my purse. The ACC one is way to big but I
like it. Won’t *tuck* it in a suitcase to haul around though. Any meter
that gets good results is the best one.

When I was 5-6 I KNEW I would never be able to learn to spell Elliott
(maiden name) with all those L’s and T’s!!. What do children from that
Tweedlebuffets town think?
Jan

Denis,
Maybe since you are in another country there are different markings, but B-M
is the mfgr of the Advantage. Roche bought them out so now supplies (strips)
say that. Advantage has several different styles. The one I use is Complete.
It is a little larger than a PC mouse with backlight, 3 buttons, stores 1000
tests, etc. Pretty nice. If you lived in the states, I’d ask for 2-3 of
the red strips from you for my *evolution* of DM products display for my
50th anniversary BASH. I didn’t think to save any. HEY. maybe your sister
can mail me a couple when she hits the states. E-mail me privately if you
can and I’ll give you an address.
