NO FOG!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful sunrise! 8^) Heavy clouds coming in later –
60*F. Showers and possible T’storms tomorrow with sun in the afternoon. Of
course, the early a.m. is what I’m concerned about - Indy, you know.
It’s awful early out but I went to bed with a pain in my upper left hip bone
and it got worse over night.
I’m really struggling even leaning forward or sitting. I’m so glad I made an
*investment* a few years ago at Goodwill when I found a raised toilet seat
for $3.00. Never know when you need something so *useful.* I used it when
I fell 6 mos. ago yesterday, when I had my foot surgery, and Mr. Jan was
here to put it on *John* this a.m.
I see the backologist 2x a month (maintenance plan), but I’m going to HAVE
to scrape up dough and pay full price and go in today.
I’m so glad the footologist gave me that permanent handicap parking card to
hang from the rearview mirror. You can’t just go in and get one. I’ve used
it sporadically, but sure was grateful for it last night at the library for
Toastmasters and when I stopped at the store. Seems like I get really heavy
stuff when I’m by myself: big bag of oranges, 5# apples, 2 gallons milk, and
some other stuff. That’s neat that somebody invented carts.
I learned an important lesson last night (AGAIN): Always take all your
visual aids that you are going to use when giving a speech! I took in my
material, etc., set my easel up, then when I got up to speak I looked at
that easel and realized I left my 2 big color charts at home! It was
practice for a program I’m going to do at the Y in a couple of weeks. We get
the *bugs* out at TM. I’ve done this program for outside groups 5-6 times
before, but haven’t used these color charts. They were donated to me and
very conducive to my subject.
Sorry this is so long, but I hurt too much to get off of this chair. Think
I’ll take a couple of non-effective Tylenol! I need to go back to bed. Maybe
I’d better stay up since tomorrow a.m. I’ll be traveling at this time. 8^)
Get used to it today!
