In our state you can get help if you need it through your county. Our
county allows you to go to a special clinic and they let you get three
months of insulin and supplies for a very small price. It depends on
your income. They help insulin dependent people faster than type 2. You
could check with your county health board and see if there is a program
in effect in your friend’s area. Also as a stop gap his doc. might have
some samples or know where to go. He has to use this month the squeaky
