Diabetes Information

Does anyone know anything about lead poisoning? I have had severe back pains
since 3/23, mainly starting in the muscle above my left hip. My head/neck
are stiff, too. Went to ER Sunday where I was given pain pills and advised
to see dr. for exercises (!!!). Had Xrays Monday and saw endo Tuesday. He’s
ordered a bone scan for today (3/30). It may be a pinched sciatic nerve.
Then I got to thinking, a friend told me about a thing she has that she
freezes; she pours cold milk in it and drinks delicious icy-cold milk. I
have a ceramic mug I’ve been putting in the freezer and drinking milk from
it. It is great. I always wash/rinse it and put it back. When I get it out
of the freezer, it is always coated a funny white inside and my hugsband
accuses me of not cleaning it. Then he did it for me because of my pain –
it turned the exact same pattern of white after HIS expert cleaning.
Now I’m wondering, am I leeching lead and drinking it? Would it cause my
back pain? Anyone have any experience with something similar?

I’ve always suspected something was amiss…I’m having the
granddaddy of a headache. Wanted to take some tablets, made
some tea, dropped the painkillers in my tea and promptly
swallowed my sweetener tablets with some water…
:-(((
Whaddaya expect from somebody who, when the phone rings,
tries to answer the MOUSE!!
Going home now, and I’m going to enjoy my weekend off.

Gang,
Today has seemed rather quiet to me, but maybe it is just me.
Jan how are you doing today? How is the pain and the pain pills? I hope
some better. Sometimes I think it would be good to just lock us both up
together and we could moan and carry on as much as we wanted.
Babs are you feeling better? Was your problem due to a high or what? food?
Iris it has been so good to hear a little more from you today. I know there
are days you just can’t make yourself respond. The pain I know is something
you have to live with, and the depression. But I know it helps when you can
have a couple days the pain is not so bad. Hope you can start having more
good days than bad.
Well I got started on antibiotic this evening for bladder inf. And as you
all know it is just one more pill to take and one more pain to tolerate.
This is a really weird evening for me. I feel, I don’t know what the word
is, maybe melancoly. I don’t know, not really depressed. Just I feel so

Karen (I think),
“He” is the same as “M” or SIR, which all equal Marius Calitz, our *glue*
from South Africa. He gets lonely while working and is a T-2 diabetic. In
his own words he is very uncontrolled and lives in darkest Africa. He often
has his neighbors for dinner. Pun intended. NOTICE: M, stop reading at this point.
Back to Karen,
He is brilliant, speaks at least 3 languages with Afrikaans his mother
tongue, and likes the challenge of conversing with us on this side of the
world. We try to reduce his name down to as little as necessary to not give
him the Big Head. We often stretch it out to Pinocchio, however, since he
loves to twist our existing posts to his advantage. Always read the post
remaining on one of his responses to see what he rewrote and twisted. We get
rather hilarious at times — which is good for the soul. If you would like,
