Hello Gang,
Just returned from court……The charges of Abandonment have been
dropped…..case dismissed!!! Praise the Lord!

Welcome Home, Gail,
We have missed you here at Diabetics. I enjoy you banter with Marius and
missed it very much. I am glad you had a wonderful trip. How did Glory enjoy
her vacation? It is nice to be with family, isn’t it?
I had a wonderful time with my girlfriend, Barbara. After the commotion of
the first day thing pretty much settled down. We had so much time to just
hang out at the pool and enjoy each other’s company.
I am not sure if I let the Gang know about my son’s sentence. I know I told
Becki personally but I can’t remember if I posted to the list or not. He was
sentenced to 7mo-2yrs in a minimum security facility. As much as I wish this
didn’t happen I know he will know get all the psychiatric help he needs. I
just hope he takes advantage of it. He was transferred to this facility on
Friday night. He will now be assessed and it will be determined what medical
facility he will go to. We have been talking. He was very happy to see me at
court last Monday. He let me hug him and there were a lot of tears on both

Hi Loretta,
I think you may be the first person that we have from the state of WA. I am
origionally from Long Island, NY. It is where I was born and lived the first
44 1/2 years of my life. I moved to Melbourne, Central FL in July of ‘97. I
love it here. The weather is beautiful for 10 months of the years. (I would
love to skip Jul/Sept!) The lifestyle is just so much more relaxed than in NY.

WOW…… I thought I did tell you about Wayne…AKA Mr. Wonderful! He is on
one of my other diabetes lists and a few months ago we started emailing
privately. Then Insant Messaging and then phone calls! We spend about 5 hrs
a day either online or on the phone. I haven’t been getting much sleep! He
lives in TN. and we are going to be meeting within the next 2 weeks if
everything works out as planned. He was going to come here 2 weeks ago but
Barbara was here and we both thought it best to wait. I think he would have
been scared away! He makes me very happy and I can’t imagine what it will be
like to finally meet. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I have finished graphs I can show you of other things, but I can’t do
anything more than save these right now since my puter isn’t talking to
hubbys computer until school is over. His puter has the Photoshop on it,
When I work graphs, I’m sending stuff back and forth to get things tweaked
just right. It can be a long process, but well worth the time. If I can
afford the beads, I’m doing a bag with a portrait of the Porter girl that
was abducted and murdered here in Minnesota. I want to enter it in the fair
this year.

Hello Gang,
I am trying to get back to the land of the living again…….my house looks
like a cyclone went through it. Not once but a few times! But it was well
worth it. We had such a good time. We spent so much time at the beach or the
pool and all the kids had a ball. We took the kids ice-skating,
rollor-balding, go-cart racing, to the zoo and to a batting range that also
has video games and pinball. Having 8 kids underfoot was a challenge to our
patience but it all went very well. Barbara and I got to spend so much time
talking and laughing. When I stay with her in NY I don’t get to spend much
time with her. I spend most of my time with my family and get back late at
night to Barbara’s.
I was glad to read that Gail is off to visit her family. Good news about
Wendy also. I am sure Merredy is happy her mom is home. The picture of
Merredy is beautiful. She surely has grown since her last pictures.
Becki’s daughter’s are gorgeous! Marius is right…keep them locked up!
